We’re excited to announce the first annual A Night of Comedy for Hospice Care Plus, featuring nationally known stand-up comedian and Kentucky native That Guy Joe Deuce. Joe has been named Funniest Comedian of Lexington and featured in his own stand-up special on Dry Bar Comedy, Amazon Prime, and YouTube.
Join us on Friday, March 31 at Eastern Kentucky University’s Stratton Building, Posey Theater, where doors will open at 7 p.m. and Joe will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
General admission is just $30. College student admission is $25 with a valid student I.D., shown at the door. We also have a limited number of VIP experience reservations for $50. The VIP experience will include a guaranteed seat in the first two rows and a meet and greet with That Guy Joe Deuce from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
When asked about his involvement in the comedy night event, Joe says “I have had members of my own family in the care of hospice, and I believe in the importance of the service this organization provides. Allowing people at the end of their journey to have a comfortable and dignified transition is a service that I believe is valuable not only to the patient but also to the families and friends. If I can give back to hospice by providing a night of laughter, I’m honored to do so.”

That Guy Joe Deuce headlines our first annual “A Night of Comedy for Hospice Care Plus.”
The Night of Comedy benefits our Building Better Together Capital Campaign. The campaign hopes to raise $190,000 towards consolidating all our programs and core services to the Compassionate Care Center campus in Richmond. This includes building a small structure to accommodate the space needed for consolidation.
“If our home care programs and our facility staff are together, it improves communication and care when patients and families transition from one program to another,” says Lisa Cox, CEO, “This allows more efficient use of our resources and improves quality of care.”
