The Jackson County Wagon & Saddle Club is hosting a fundraiser for Hospice Care Plus, and it’s open to the community.
Saddle Up for Hospice Care Plus is on Saturday, September 8 at 10 a.m. at the Martin Farm in McKee (7196 Highway 1955). There is no admission fee, but donations are encouraged. All proceeds will be donated to Hospice Care Plus.
The event features a four-to-five hour trail ride at 10 a.m. in beautiful countryside, a meal at 2:30 p.m. (for a donation), a baked goods sale, silent auction, raffle items, and door prizes. There will also be fun activities for both kids and adults. Live music featuring the Skeeter Ranch Crew is included as well. The organizers say that, even if you don’t ride a horse, you’re welcome to join in the fun.
For more information about Saddle Up for Hospice Care Plus, contact Linda Shearer, Wagon & Saddle Club Vice Chairperson, at 606-965-3714 or 606-493-6802.
