Guests enjoy the photo booth at last year’s Summer Affair. This year’s event is Aug. 12, 6 p.m., at the Estill County Fair Barn. Get your tickets today!

For the 11th year, Citizens Guaranty Bank in Irvine is working with local volunteers to host A Summer Affair for Hospice Care.

This year’s event is on Saturday, August 12, at 6 p.m. at the Estill County Fair Barn.

The Summer Affair will feature a Kentucky Proud theme, silent auctions, live music with local musicians, and a chance to mingle and enjoy the tasty offerings from Mary Ann’s Catering.

Tickets are $50 and available online at our secure event registration site, by calling Citizens Guaranty Bank in Irvine at 606-726-2002, or by calling Hospice Care Plus’s special events office at 859-756-4755. All proceeds are donated to Hospice Care Plus, Estill County’s provider of hospice and palliative care. Hospice Care Plus also serves Jackson, Madison, Lee, Owsley, and Rockcastle counties.

Getting to greet and mingle with friends is always part of the fun at the annual Summer Affair for Hospice Care!

The annual event has raised over $100,000 for Hospice Care Plus since its inception.

“The Summer Affair has become so important to our services,” says Nikki Stuart, special events coordinator at Hospice. “It makes a major contribution to funding the care we provide, the free programs we offer, and more. It’s remarkable how hard these volunteers and Citizens Guaranty Bank work to make sure hospice care is well-funded and available in Estill County.”

Fundraising aside, Nikki says the event is a standout for other reasons, too.

“It’s so much fun, and it’s always so beautifully done. Everything from the fun décor to the excellent food, the opportunity to socialize, and the setting—they just work so hard to make it entertaining and enjoyable, yet relaxed.”

For questions or more information, contact Nikki at 859-756-4755 or hospice@hospicecp.org.
